Private Speed Dating Event

I am very excited to be hosting this event. This is an invite only event for members of the Book of Love. The guest list was compiled based on compatibility and a certain age demographic. If you haven't received your invitation to this event, don't worry, there will be many more future events for you and what you're looking for.

We have limited space available because we will only be hosting 10 men and 10 women. If you have RSVP'd and can no longer attend, please contact your matchmaker Jean-eva Dickie and she will take you off the list and find a suitable replacement.

This is a speed dating event, but it is slightly different to the speed dating events made available to the public. We will be hosting this at a private venue, and it will be just us there that evening. We will be taking the matching seriously and your only option is a romantic match (for those who have been to other events, the friend option has been removed from the matching sheet). Everyone attending is looking for a future partner, there will be no tire kickers. Please take a little extra time putting yourself together. These are high quality people, and high quality matches, it's a very good idea to look your best.

You will have 10 seven minute dates with each member of the opposite sex. After each date you will mark on your sheet who you like and who you would like to see again. Now, we know there is nothing without mutual attraction, so your dates will also be determining if they would like to see you again. At the end of the evening, please give your matching sheet to your matchmaker. She will compile the matches, and the next day you will receive an email including the first name and phone number of your matches. You may take it from there.

***Covid Precautions ***

This is a social distanced speed dating event.  Upon arrival, you will be greeted outside of the venue. Everyone will sanitize their hands before entering the event.  You will be seated the appropriate distance from your date and the surrounding couples. We will be serving you any refreshments you would like, and we will try to keep everyone to their seats in hopes of maintaining social distancing. If you feel more comfortable wearing a mask, you are absolutely welcome to wear the proper PPE to make you feel safe and comfortable. We will be taking all the necessary steps to keep everyone safe and healthy.

*** Age - No Age Range, the attendee's have been selected based on compatibility.

*** Alcohol - This is an alcohol free event, but we will have lots of refreshments for you to choose from.

*** Ticket Price - Tickets are $40.00 CAD for the evening (tickets must be purchased before the event to hold your spot).

*** Venue - Women's Council House (989 Young Avenue).
