About the Event
We are bringing our summer singles mixer to the dark side! New Scotland Brewery and Timber Lounge are opening their doors for this private event, Love on Tap, Age 25 - 45. Not only will we be hosting a singles mixer, but at the same time we will be enjoying an axe throwing tournament at Timber Lounge. What better ice breaker is there than some healthy competition while we throw around sharp objects!
Axe Throwing Tournament - For those that would like to participate, we will have 8 teams competing for our amazing first, second and third place prizes. Timber Lounge was kind enough to open up, just for us! The axe throwing will be at a reduced cost for all those participating, thanks to our amazing sponsor The Clarke Mortgage Group.
General Admission - If axe throwing isn't your thing, or it is sold out, no problem! For those who just want to attend to meet like minded singles, don't worry, you are totally welcome to join and skip the axe throwing competition. New Scotland has an amazing space, and if the weather is nice, the party will extend onto their beautiful rooftop patio with the best view of Halifax.
Wingperson tickets - If you have a non-single supportive friend you would like to bring with you, we have wingperson tickets available and we will make sure they are easily identified as a non-single attendee! They can even compete in our axe throwing tournament!
Before you exclude yourself thinking you aren't within the age requirements, remember there are going to be over 200 singles in attendance, so there will be lots of people in your preferred age range. This mixer is intended for those between 25-45 or if you're looking for a partner in that age range.
This is unlike a speed dating event, matches will not be provided the next day. If you would like to see someone again, it is up to you to exchange contact information at the event.
*** Age 25-45 - If you're a few years older or a few years younger than the age range, feel free to still attend. Come to the event you are attracted to.
*** Ticket Price - General Admission - Tickets are $30.00 CAD + tax.
Axe throwing - Tickets are $50.00 CAD + tax ($30.00 - general admission & $20.00 - for the axe throwing)
Tickets must be purchased before the event to hold your spot.
*** Refund Policy - Tickets are non-refundable.
*** Waitlist - When tickets sell out, put yourself on the waitlist by emailing your name, email and phone number to jean-eva@bookoflovecanada.ca. We will not be opening the patio capacity until the week before, weather pending. You want to be on the waitlist, because you will be contacted when capacity increases as the tickets are sold.

We will be creating the teams and time slots of axe throwing closer to the event date. We will be providing all the details to those participating in the axe throwing tournament the week leading up to the event.
