Speed FRIENDING - Ages 40-60

Join our Speed Friending afternoon, where you know everyone is also coming alone, and looking for new friends! There will be refeshments, and for all of those who would like to join, Dee Dee's ice cream after!

This is NOT a dating event. I know we are know for our singles events, but speed friending is designed to make platonic connections among adults.

Are you new to Halifax, and have left all your friends behind? Did you come out of COVID with a smaller social circle than before? Have all your friends moved away, chasing their careers? Have you invested all your time in your partner, and realize you allowed your friends to fall by the wayside? Did you realize that you have changed, but your friends haven't and are looking for some new, like-minded people to hang out with? I don't know about you, but I find it hard to attend a social event alone. It's the worst feeling to walk into an event, and see groups of people chatting who already know each other. How on earth are you supposed to break down those walls alone, in an already anxiety-inducing situation. It is our goal to eliminate some of those difficulties. Come to our Speed Friending afternoon, where you know that everyone is also coming alone, and looking for new friends!

You will have 10 - 12 five minute chat sessions with everyone attending in your age range.

*** Ticket Price - Tickets are $20.00 CAD for the afternoon (tickets must be purchased before the event to hold your spot).
